​I arrived in Seattle in 1992, chasing dreams of Olympic cycling—my races around the Pacific Northwest took me down beautiful roads, through charming waterfront towns, and to scenic mountain villages (though the only Olympics I made it to are the ones that rise majestically above Puget Sound). I’ve since upgraded my “ride” to a Denali XL; travel in style and ease to both iconic and lesser-known viewpoints around Seattle, Bavarian-themed Leavenworth, the laid-back island town of Coupeville, and multiple points in between.
